LEADER: "I, -insert leader's name here- leader of -insert Clan name here-, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He/She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as a warrior in their turn.
-insert apprentice's name here-, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

APPRENTICE: "I do."

LEADER: "Then by the powers of DuatClan, and the blessing of our patron god/dess, I give you your warrior name. -insert apprentice's name here-, from this moment you will be known as -insert apprentice's new warrior name here-. DuatClan honors your _____ and _____ (insert two qualities in the blanks), and we welcome you as a full warrior of -insert Clan name here-."

The leader rests his/her muzzle on top of the new warrior's head. The clan then shouts out the new warrior's name and the new warrior sits vigil the same night.

>>Apprentice Ceremony,

LEADER: "-insert kit's name here-, from this moment on until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as -insert kit's apprentice name here-.
-insert new mentor's name here-, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to -insert apprentice name here-.
-insert new mentor's name here-, you have shown yourself to be a -insert two qualities of the mentor here- warrior. Do all that you can to pass on what you know down to -insert new apprentice's name here-.

The mentor and new apprentice touch noses as the clan shouts out the new apprentice's name.

>>Deputy Ceremony,

This is if the previous deputy died.

LEADER: "I say these words before the body of -insert name of previous deputy here-, so that his/her spirit may hear and approve my choice.
-insert the name of the new deputy here- will be the new deputy of -insert Clan name here-.

Clan shouts the new deputy's name. A deputy must be named before Moonhigh. Also, in order to become a deputy, the warrior needs to have had an apprentice in the past.

The following is used if the previous deputy was out of the clan/retired/demoted, etc.

LEADER: "I say these words before DuatClan, and our patron god/goddess, that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice.
The new deputy will be -insert name of new deputy here-."

Clan shouts new deputy's name.

>>Medicine Cat Ceremony,

MEDICINE CAT: "I, -insert medicine cat's name here-, medicine cat of -insert clan here-, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She/He has trained hard to understand the way of a medicine cat, and with your help she will serve your Clan for many moons. -insert apprentice's name here-, do you promise to uphold the way of a medicine cat, to stand apart from rivalry between Clan and Clan, and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?"

MEDICINE CAT APPRENTICE: "I do."

MEDICINE CAT: "Then, by the powers of DuatClan, and with the blessing of our Patron God/Goddess, I give you your true name as a medicine cat. -insert medicine cat apprentice's name-, from this moment you shall be known as -insert new medicine cat's name here-. DuatClan honors your knowledge and certainty, and we welcome you as a full medicine cat of -insert clan here-."

The medicine cat rests his/her muzzle on the top of the new medicine cat's head and the new medicine cat licks his/her shoulder in respect. The other medicine cats chant the new medicine cat's new name.

>>Elder Ceremony,

LEADER: -insert warrior's name here-, is it your wish to give up the name of warrior and go to join the elders?"
WARRIOR: "It is."
LEADER: "Your Clan honors you and all the service you have given to us. I call upon DuatClan to give you many moons of rest."

>>Name Change Ceremony,

LEADER: "Spirits of DuatClan, you know every cat by name. I ask you now to take away the name from the cat you see before you, for it no longer stands for what he/she is. By my authority as Clan leader, and with the approval of our warrior ancestors, I give this cat a new name. From this moment on he/she will be know as -insert new name here-."
